We're a church that believes feeding people's bodies is as important as feeding people's hearts. For years First Metropolitan Community Church of Kansas has been feeding people at our Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry.  It's become such a part of our ministry, we are changing our name to:

We are still an MCC church and a part of the worldwide MCC denomination...Just the NAME has changed. 

Who We Are

We are an inclusive and diverse church for all people. We affirm the dignity and worth of every person created in the image of God. We welcome into full participation persons of every race, language, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, physical or mental ability, economic or marital status, and faith background.

Our Vision

The vision of our faith community is that we will become so infused with the love of God in all our relationships that we will communicate to our world the truth that “God Loves You . . . Period.”

Inclusive Worship

In our worship God will be named in a variety of ways that are gender neutral. This helps us to create a space where all of us can approach the Holy in ways that are personal and meaningful.
